為進(jìn)一步活躍和促進(jìn)中外文化交流，搭建展示和傳播文明之美的交流互鑒平臺(tái)；進(jìn)一步助推中外優(yōu)秀文藝作品更多地在滬出版、展演、展映，著力推出更多“上海原創(chuàng)”；進(jìn)一步激勵(lì)和表彰文學(xué)藝術(shù)翻譯人才，推動(dòng)和促進(jìn)文學(xué)藝術(shù)翻譯事業(yè)發(fā)展，在中共上海市委宣傳部的指導(dǎo)下，由上海市文學(xué)藝術(shù)界聯(lián)合會(huì)、上海市作家協(xié)會(huì)、上海翻譯家協(xié)會(huì)共同發(fā)起設(shè)立“上海文學(xué)藝術(shù)翻譯獎(jiǎng)”。本獎(jiǎng)為經(jīng)上海市委宣傳部批準(zhǔn)的文藝類正式獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，每三年在上海評(píng)選并頒授一次。
翻譯獎(jiǎng)設(shè)組委會(huì)，并在組委會(huì)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下設(shè)立評(píng)委會(huì)和監(jiān)督小組。
具體公告事項(xiàng)
一、獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)設(shè)置
“上海文學(xué)藝術(shù)翻譯獎(jiǎng)”受益人為翻譯者，評(píng)獎(jiǎng)只在申報(bào)時(shí)在世的翻譯者的作品中進(jìn)行。獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)設(shè)置：
1．文學(xué)翻譯獎(jiǎng)（含文學(xué)、藝術(shù)理論）：中譯外5部（或以下）作品的翻譯者；外譯中5部（或以下）作品的翻譯者。第一屆僅限英、法、德、日、俄、西班牙、阿拉伯語；
2．表演藝術(shù)翻譯獎(jiǎng)（舞臺(tái)表演、影視表演）：中譯外5部（或以下）作品的翻譯者；外譯中5部（或以下）作品的翻譯者。第一屆僅限英、法、德、日、俄、西班牙、阿拉伯和中國周邊國家其它主要語種。
二、評(píng)選標(biāo)準(zhǔn)
1．作品對(duì)促進(jìn)各國人民思想交流、文化融合有積極意義和作用。
2．忠實(shí)準(zhǔn)確地移譯原作的各種信息和文化符碼，符合翻譯倫理和藝術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，同時(shí)也鼓勵(lì)適當(dāng)?shù)膭?chuàng)造性。
3．具有較高的藝術(shù)品位和良好的社會(huì)影響，特別是在譯入語讀者群和譯入語社會(huì)中的影響。
三、申報(bào)要求
評(píng)獎(jiǎng)范圍為2014年1月1日至2018年12月31日出版、演出、播映的作品。
1．第一屆不接受個(gè)人申報(bào)，僅限機(jī)構(gòu)推薦，范圍如下：
（1）文學(xué)類翻譯作品的出版單位推薦本社出版的作品；
（2）表演藝術(shù)類翻譯作品的演出、制作單位推薦本單位演出、制作的作品；
（3）其他相關(guān)部門或機(jī)構(gòu)推薦的作品。
推薦申報(bào)的作品必須有合法版權(quán)，如發(fā)現(xiàn)版權(quán)不合法，將立即取消作品的評(píng)審資格。各單位推薦的作品，每個(gè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)原則上不超過3部。有關(guān)推薦須經(jīng)作者同意并獲得相關(guān)授權(quán)。
2．文學(xué)類翻譯作品以成書形式參評(píng)，必須為公開出版物并進(jìn)入正規(guī)市場。書籍以版權(quán)頁標(biāo)明的第一次出版時(shí)間為準(zhǔn)，表演藝術(shù)類翻譯作品以首次正式公開演出、播映為準(zhǔn)。不接受重譯作品參評(píng)。
3．結(jié)集作品中出版年月前三年內(nèi)翻譯的內(nèi)容須占全書字?jǐn)?shù)三分之一以上，推薦時(shí)須另附列表，注明每篇作品完成或首次發(fā)表的日期并由推薦單位證明屬實(shí)，加蓋公章。
4．作為地域性獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，在評(píng)獎(jiǎng)年限內(nèi)的申報(bào)作品范圍包括：
（1）在上海出版、演出、播映的中文原創(chuàng)文學(xué)、表演藝術(shù)作品被翻譯為外文，并在國外出版、演出、播映的；
（2）在國外出版、演出、播映的文學(xué)、表演藝術(shù)作品被翻譯為中文，并在上海出版、演出、播映的；
（3）上海文學(xué)藝術(shù)工作者的中文原創(chuàng)文學(xué)、表演藝術(shù)作品被翻譯為外文，并在國外出版、演出、播映的；上海翻譯工作者將中文原創(chuàng)文學(xué)、表演藝術(shù)作品翻譯成外文，并在國外出版、演出、播映；上海翻譯工作者將外文原創(chuàng)文學(xué)、表演藝術(shù)作品翻譯成中文，并在國內(nèi)出版、演出、播映。
上海文學(xué)藝術(shù)工作者和上海翻譯工作者都僅限當(dāng)前擁有上海戶籍或上海市居住證者。
四、申報(bào)程序及時(shí)間
1．各推薦單位到指定網(wǎng)址下載《第一屆上海文學(xué)藝術(shù)翻譯獎(jiǎng)作品申報(bào)表》，填寫并加蓋公章。推薦表及其它相關(guān)材料須提供電子版和紙質(zhì)版。
2．文學(xué)類作品以成書形式參評(píng)，須提供樣書12本，原文樣書2本。表演藝術(shù)類作品以視頻形式參評(píng)，須提供視頻光盤12份，相關(guān)劇本12份。所有參評(píng)作品的文本須提供中外文電子版（PDF格式）。
3．以上所有申報(bào)材料的電子版按組別發(fā)送至相應(yīng)的電子郵箱，實(shí)物材料以快遞方式寄送，請?jiān)诳旒獠繕?biāo)明參評(píng)作品的類別和語種，如“文學(xué)·中譯英”、“表演藝術(shù)·英譯中”等。勿用包裹方式郵寄。

Announcement: The 1stShanghai Literature and Art Translation Awards
Shanghai Literature and Art Translation Awards are initiated jointly by Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Shanghai Writers’ Association, and Shanghai Translators Association under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Committee. The Awards are designed to further boost the literary andartistictranslations in Shanghai, create a platform for cultural exchange and mutual understanding between China and foreign countries, promote publications of translation works that bring to light the beauty of civilization, particularly the “Shanghai Originals",and encourage and honor those who translate outstandingliterary and artisticworks, published, performed or broadcast in the city. The Awards are to be presented every three years in Shanghai.
The Awards are administeredby an organizing committee, under which there will be a panel of judgesand a supervisorygroup.
Guiding Principles
I.Types of Awards
The 1stShanghai Literature and Art Translation Awards will beonly presented to the translators who are alive at the time of theirnomination. The Awards will have TWOcategoriesof translation, i.e.:
Literature (including literary and artistic theories):
Group A–from a foreign language to Chinese: up to 5 awardees
Group B–from Chinese to a foreign language: up to 5awardees
Forthis category,“foreign language” onlyincludesEnglish, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish and Arabic.
Performing arts (stage, film, and television performing arts):
Group C–from a foreign language to Chinese: up to 5 awardees
Group D–from Chinese to a foreign language: up to 5 awardees
Forthis category,“foreign language” only includesEnglish, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, and any other official language used in neighboring countries of China.
II.Criteria of Awards
1.The translation work whichpositively contributesto promoting the exchange of creative ideas and cultural integration among people from different countries.
2. The translation work whichconveysthe meaning and cultural elements of the original text faithfully and accurately,and meetsthe ethical and artistic standard in translation. Appropriate creativity in translation is encouraged.
3. The translation work of great artistic merit which exertsa positive social influence, especially among the target audience and society.
III.Conditions for Nomination
The eligible works tobe nominated for the Awards are those officially published, performed or broadcast for the first time between JANUARY 1, 2014 andDECEMBER 31, 2018.
1. The Organizing Committeeof the first Awards ONLYacceptsthe translation work nominatedby an organization. The requirement fornomination isas follows:
1.1 A literary translation work nominated by the publisher that publishesit;
1.2 A performing arts translation work nominated by the producer or performing organization that producesor stagesit; or
1.3 A translation work nominated by any otherrelevant authorityor organization.
All the nominated worksmust have officialcopyrights. Any such workthat is found to violate copyright protections will be removed from the Awards. In principle, one nomination may be submitted withup to THREEworks for each group. Eachnomination must be made upon approvaland authorizationby the relevant translator.
2. The literary work should be submitted in book form and must have been published and made publicly available in the market. The literary work so submitted is eligiblesubject to the date of itsfirst publication indicated on the copyright page. A workofperforming arts is eligiblesubject to the date of itsofficial debut. Any translation of which there is already an earlier version from the same language will not be accepted.
3. If a book of collection is submitted, the contents translated within three years before itsfirst publication date must comprise more than one-third of the totalcollection. For such anomination, a separate list is required,indicating the date of completion of each article. The list should bear the official seal of the nominator for confirmation purpose.
4. As a regional selection, the Organizing CommitteeONLYacceptsworksthat comply withone of the following articlesfor their eligibility:
4.1Literary or performing arts works published, performed or broadcast in Shanghai have been translated from Chinese into a foreign language and later published, performed or broadcast abroad.
4.2 Literary or performing arts works published, performed or broadcast abroad have been translated froma foreign languageinto Chinese and later published, performed or broadcast in Shanghai.
4.3Literary or performing arts works written by Shanghai writers orartists have been translated from Chineseinto a foreign language and later published, performed or broadcast abroad.
4.4 Chinese literary or performing arts works have been translatedby Shanghai translators and later published, performed or broadcast abroad.
4.5 Foreign literary or performing arts works have been translatedby Shanghai translators and later published, performed or broadcast in China.
To avoid any confusion, a Shanghai writer, artistor translator mentioned above must havea Shanghai household registrationor residence permit.
IV.Nomination Procedure and Deadline
1. Nominators should download the “NominationForm for the 1stShanghai Literature and Art Translation Awards” from the specified website, complete the form, and affix their official seals. The Nomination Form and other required materials must be provided both in electronic and physical versions.
2. Literary works should be submitted in book form, including 12 translation copies and 2 original versions. Performing arts works should be submitted in 12 translated or bilingual paper scripts, together with 12 video CDs. All nomination documents except the NominationForm should come with electronic version (PDF format) both in Chinese and the corresponding foreign language.
3. The electronic version of all the above nomination materials should be sent to the relevant e-mail address listed below by groups. The physical materials should be submitted by courier service. Please indicate the category and translation languageof the nomination on the package,e.g."Literature:Chinese-to-English” or "Performing Arts:English-to-Chinese".
